SIM only deals analysed and reviewed.
Today you will notice that many telecommunication companies are offering special discounts for customers in a combined or as they would call it a combo package where one would get a phone along with the SIM (subscriber identity module) card for a cheap price. It is well know that every phone needs a SIM card in order to operate, so taking this in mind the telecommunications are promoting this special price of both items to their customers. This special combo of phone and SIM are found to be much lesser than the price of an individual phone if bought at a local telephone gadget shop.
This special discount on a combination of phone and SIM by the telecommunication companies is excellent and profitable for people intending to get a new phone, as it would save them quite a sum of money rather than if they went in separately to buy a phone and the SIM card. While on the other hand it would not be of much use to a customer who has already a phone and is just seeking a SIM card. So for a situation like this customers would not benefit from the combo as there best shot would only be in purchasing a SIM card which might turn out to be cheaper.
As mentioned buying a SIM on its own is the most sensible option that a customer should consider rather than taking up the combo package and wasting the money on the extra phone which would not be useful. So in order to ease this confusion it would be helpful to all telephone users if telecommunication companies could offer only SIM card contracts. The issue of SIM on their own would save the customer money by not buying the combo pack where it would be no sense paying for another phone. In addition the SIM alone on its own would help customers that are seeking new numbers and those wanting to change their existing numbers or mobile phone operators. The idea of selling the SIM card on its own would be great where it would be most useful to phone users and would definitely become a popular item of sale.

The best thing to do is to find a handset that you like and then use a comparison website to help find a contract that suits your needs. There are a couple of handsets that are worth mentioning at the moment as we feel they will be a huge success upon their release. Firstly there is the Sony Ericsson Satio, originally named the Idou, this handset is the ultimate camera phone with features aplenty. Watch out for this handset later this year as it has great looks and even better features. The other handset that we think is truly excellent is the Samsung Omnia 2. The Omnia 2 will be based on the Windows Mobile platform, currently the 6.1 version, but Samsung have confirmed that it will be fully upgradeable to 6.5 when it is released later this year. You are best watching this space for more information as and when it becomes available, but overall these are the 2 that we would recommend.

The Nokia N86 is certainly an interesting device. We did enjoy the short time we spent with it and most of our first impressions are positive. We may have a grudge or two with its ergonomics and screen size and resolution, but that’s about all that can be said against it.
The first 28mm cameraphone most certainly won’t be able to stay out of the spotlight even if it wanted to. An interesting device it certainly is, but if it deserves the GSMArena thumbs up badge remains to be seen.
Our upcoming proper should clear up any remaining uncertainties about the N86 8MP full potential.
